Funniest MMGW Story Of The Year

A fire that caused $1.1 million worth of damage to a warehouse, filled with rock legend Neil Young's music equipment and memorabilia, appears to have been caused by his hybrid car which was also stored at the site.

And as if that wasn't ironic hilarious enough, the music legend had just returned from an appearance at the Specialty Equipment Market Association car show in Las Vegas ....
where he had delivered a 'talk' on his hybrid electric Lincoln.

"I love my car!" he told the audience.

A hockey stick of his choice goes to C Monster for the heads up ;-)

We Are Sailing

Seven metre seas and 50 knot winds hit a ship during a severe storm off the New Zealand coast. This piece of CCTV footage picks up the effects it had on some of the passengers and crew.

Funny as fuck ......

Tip of the sou'wester to Rod for the heads up ;-)

New Labour Cut Price Poster Campaign?

I know that money is all but non-existent, in the New Labour Election Campaign coffers, but resorting to schoolkids knocking up posters on their home computers? That's scraping the preverbial barrel a bit isn't it?

Oh but hang on a minute, that's no wet behind the ears kiddywink (is it?) it's Labour's PPC for Woking, Tom Miller.

You know the one.
He blew my cover with his excellent (?) profiling technique ;-)

Left Wing Blogosphere ++Updated++

It's no fucking surprise that the Right wing blogosphere continue to piss all over the left and, no wonder, with laughable efforts like this it just makes our life so much easier.

In the sidebar it says "....website that is here to bringing you fun for hours at the expense of Conservative....". No I'm not shitting you, that is exactly what it says and if you think the grammar is bad, just wait until you see what the fuck is supposed to be "fun for hours".

Fuck me, a blind chimpanzee with no fucking hands, no computer and no fucking internet access could do better. Well, better than Gordon Brown and his totally out of touch comrades, that's for sure.

++UPDATE++
Thanks to  Katabasis for pointing out Anna's excellent post on left wing blogging. I don't know how the fuck I missed it, she's on my blogroll and my google reader! It's definitely worth a read ;-)

I Suppose You Think That's Funny

The G.O.N.T. is back.

Spotted this clip over at other bloggers stuff and, as a result, it sent me all fucking nostalgic again. Dad's Army is a classic example of 'good old' British comedy at its best and the 'Don't Tell Him Pike' scene has to be one of the best in the whole series. I must have seen it a zillion fucking times but the twat still makes me piss myself laughing every time I see it. Now, I don't know whether that's because the comedy is just so bloody good or it's because I'm a sad old twat who is easily entertained. I prefer, of course, to think it's the former.

Anyhow, this got me thinking about other great British comedy classics and which scene, from each one, might best capture the entire series in one memorable clip.

I'm not talking 'My twatting Family' or any other similar, 'made-with-america-in-mind-canned-fucking-laughter-bollocks', shite. I mean proper stuff from the 70s, 80s and maybe a little of the early 90's with no bastard well fucking swearing in it either.

Right here's my starter for 10.
Ok, ok, I know it's fucking obvious but that doesn't make it any less of a classic clip from a classic series and 'piano wire' gets a mention. Which is nice!

And what about that completely useless twat Frank Spencer.

Slapstick heaven!

It just couldn't be made these days because of all the Righteous fucktards and their 'elf and fucking safety rules and regs. Harness this, goggle that. Twats

That said, here's one of my favourite clips from Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em and look out for those classic cars too. Nice!

Nostalgic British Comedy Classics.
'Ace doss grebo', I would say.

How about you? I would love to hear your favourites.
Then I could get high as fucking kite on a comedic fix of nostalgia.

I may well add any further suggestions here or why not post a couple yourselves. Either way it's time to take a break from all those freedom fuckers at NuLabore and have a fucking laugh.

It does us all good from time to time.
