This Blog Post Sounds Angry

Are you are one of those people that say 'what the fuck use is that to anybody' whenever you see someone has invented an apparently useless gadget or a 'who the fuck in their right mind is going to use that' piece of software or app?

Well then, you're in for a treat because some anally retarded code writing geek has decided that we are all going to need this pointless piece of shite.

G.O.T. also understands that they are considering  a similar version for blogger comments too.

Now pin yer bastard lugholes back and listen to this, Mr 'don't-get-out-in-the-daylight-much-socially-dysfunctional-when-I-meet-real-people-too-much-fucking-time-on-my-fucking-hands-sad-twatty-techy-geek' ..... no-one needs a piece of software to decode the tone of MY emails and comments.

When I say 'fuck the mother fucking fucketty fuck off, you cunting pile of shit piss smeg wankstain .... I don't mean 'have a nice day, old bean'.

G.O.T. it!

Yes. Like for instance when I started using Twatter. I still think it now. I really can't see the facination.

Relatively new to this blogging + commenting malarkey, but I must say I do feel so very much at home gentlemen. I mean in the past when I've told someone he is a useless piece of shit whose mother was probably still trying to get a fucking abortion when he was 14 years old and that he should fuck off immediately, they have usually jumped on the shovel smartly. No misunderstanding there and everyone knew exactly where they were. Perhaps that's why British Gas made me redundant...

How does American software know what I want to say?  It would change this:

"It annoys the fuck out me that I can't have a fag in a pub any more.  If I saw Harriet "Nanny State" Harman I'd stab her up the bum with my cattle-prod and send 30,000 volts up her spine."

to this:

"It annoys the hell out me that I can't have a gay man in a pub any more.  If I saw Harriet "Nanny State" Harman I'd stab her up the fanny with my cattle-prod and send 30,000 volts up her spine."

Yes - I'm in some discomfort (to put it mildly!) after straining my left shoulder. I G.O.T. bugger all sleep last night, and just managed to change gear enough times to drive myself to the chiropractor this morning. Now I'm in a rather hazy state, having stuffed myself with pain killers, and trying to chill out with some decent 70's & 80's music.

The only good news is that I'm right handed! - You can make of that whatever you f***ing well want......

Actually Dazed, you are right. I'd love one of these. You see, unlike you philistines, I actually do think before I speak. To make sure what I say doesn't offend. To me, this invention actually sounds like a GREAT idea.

And GOT, you may joke about my little blog now, but before sustained cyberbullying and libel by James Higham, my blog was damn site bigger than your offering is ever likely to be. I doubt your offering will ever get mentioned in one broadsheet newspaper.

In those days, moreover I had rules. All opinions welcome, but I would delete if the tone was offensive to other bloggers. So if you took a swipe at another commenter, I'd delete. I had ethics, you see. We're here to discuss and listen, but listen politely.

So you can sit here and fart at eachother and engage in whatever pointless sweating lager lout behaviour you like feeling all macho and thinking you're cool. I just think you all look very immature. You should have grown out of this sort of behaviour at uni.

You may call me oversensitive and perhaps I am, by your standards. Thing is, I'd like a world where people became more sensitive not less so. A world built on consideration, tolerance and understanding. You know, where people are NICE to eachother.

I wonder- do you people really think you're helping that world come to pass by perpetuating the most disgusting aspects of human behaviour?

You call me self-righteous. Of course. When I was a teenager I seriously considered entering the clergy. I didn't mainly because I enjoy sex too much and subsequently came to the conclusion that in reality, the solution to the problem of realising Catholic aims are in fact- Marxism and Free Love.

Crushed said...

Anyway, so as not to be rude let me comment on your post further.

I have often pondered amongst possible inventions we will utilise post-revolution, the concept of a chemical filter for emotions. All emotions are chemical so it is possible to conceive of a device which acted to suppress emotions such as anger and jealousy, only allowing human beings to feel positive emotions.

And before you accuse me of wanting to ENFORCE this, no, I'm not suggesting that. Merely if it was invented, you'd be stupid not to want one fitted. It would make your life easier and everyone else's too.

There's a difference between these things being enforced and you wanting to control them yourself. This device in your post isn't someone else controlling you, it's giving YOU the power to control YOURSELF further. Give you the chance to raise yourself above animal emotions and move further up the evolutionary scale.

YOU actually become FREER.

I wouldn't want to live in a world without emotions but at the same time, I'd like it so that they were all entirely under our control. One day, in my opinion, we'll regulate our emotions entirely by pills of one sort or another and feel 'Love' when we choose and just choose never to feel angry.

And that way there will be one emotion we always feel as a constant. Security :)

And he's been libelling James over at my place, too! >:o

Here's an example.....

"<span>I was the victim of a persecution campaign of which James Higham was a key figure. James Higham doesn't believe in Freedom of Speech for Trotskisys who advocate Free Love and the abolition of Marriage"</span>

Funny that!?!...... I think he'd find most people feel the same way! O:-)

microdave said...

Crushed said: "<span>I'd like a world where people became more sensitive not less so. A world built on consideration, tolerance and understanding. You know, where people are NICE to each other."</span>

<span>It's over sensitivity to every little comment that's buggered our society up.  You can't legislate against peoples thoughts, although Liebor have tried hard...  What you seem to be unable to grasp is that it's not WHAT you say, but HOW you say it. </span>

<span>In years gone by most people had some backbone, and insults were taken in the spirit in which they were made. If you had read some of my earlier remarks in this thread you might have accused me of being a wanker. I wouldn't have objected in the slightest. If you had just walked up to me in the street and said the same thing I wouldn't have been quite so pleased, but I'm not going to run round to the nearest police station and make a "hate" crime complaint...</span>

You don't have to read these pages, or any others if you don't want to. The anger here, and on many other sites is simply a reflection of peoples hatred of having their existence constantly being interfered with by thousands of politicians who think they have a divine right to use us a glorified social experiment.

Most of us are perfectly capable of being nice to one another, but these days we are often more concerned about a "sensitive" person taking it the wrong way....

Grow up!

Crushed said...

Barking;

The phrase 'Part vulcan, part Eloi' is a phrase I've often used on my blog for what I hope we'll evolve into.

Now, your langauge says it all. You don't believe in FREEDOM OF SPEECH for those advocating Trotskyism or the abolition of marriage?

So we're not allowed to say it without being harassed or have some right wing bigot run posts accusing you of being into Satanism and comparing you to Jim Jones?

Higham had every right to debarte me in comments sections; he never did that. Just ran posts accusing me of Satanism and folowing me around bullying me in comments sections etc, or getting others to do it for him.

Worse was the fact he used a female stalker of mine- one who'd actually made stalking phone calls to my own grandmother and subjected me to months of e-mail harassment as part of his campaign.

These are facts, Barking.

Whether or not you agree with Trotskism and whether or not you agree with Free Love and the abolition of marriage, you still need to give the proposition a fair hearing and not judge the arguments with a kneejerk response. Debates aren't solved that way.

My policy has always been to present the empirical argument objectively, trying to use deductive reasoning, such as the Occam's razor principle.

It is my view that if one uses completely objective reductionist logic, the Marxist case becomes proven, as does the argument that we need to disestablish marriage and the nuclear family.

You may well disagree. Higham clearly does. But since you haven't analysed the propositions objectively after hearing the arguments using a reductionist approach, how valid can your opinion be?

Most of what Higham alleges on his blog about 'Them' and Illuminati and New world Orders and the like does NOT pass any kind of analytical reasoning. It's full of logical fallacies, vague and dubious coincidental links and as theories go, none of it passes the Occam's razor test. It's little better than the Magnum Opera of David Icke.

Is he free to say those things? Well, yeah. But likewise, I should be entitled to say 'Look mate, this stuff is off the wall. There is no Satan and no Illuminati. Much of what you describe can be explained by Marxist theory without the need to invoke an imaginary grouping of evil.'

Crushed said...

I'll admit, I'm a complete reductionist. I believe in science. And I believe with the knowledge we have, now is the time to burn the baggage of the past and reconstruct society to serve the aims of 'The greatest possible happiness and sensde of life worth and fulfillment of the greatest possible proportion of an ever increasing and expanding manner'.

We need to be scientifically objective about this. Our aims are that we expand across the galaxy, our knowledge increases, our lives become easier, the only worry we have is how to make the maximum contribution with our lives to the common good and to ensure overall human contentment and joy continually increase, society becoming ever more harmonious and pleasurable.

This, Barking can only be acheived, my friend, if we do become a bit more Vulcan like :)

You can't work out right and wrong from reading texts written by Iron Age scribes or looking at they did once. That just tells you how their systems worked in times before we understood things like the laws of thermodynamics or evolution theory.

But today, morality is a matter of science. It's all about understanding what chemicals make people feel what, it's about genetic codes, it's about extraction of raw materials, growth of food, it's about efficient systems, it's ultimately all about nuclides, quarks, hydrocarbons, chromosomes.

You think Marxism is about oppression. It's not. Quite the reverse. It's about the road to a world where you become truly free. Where each human being can guarantee that for the most part his world is under his own control. His own life can be operated simply by pressing buttons and will always be exactly as s/he planned it.

Because the system WE have designed will work. And work better than the one 'God' designed.

Crushed said...

Wow, Mircrodave!

Those were some well thought and objectively sound refutations! You totally proved me wrong!

Microdave; Democracy wouldn't have been possible in the middle ages. Society EVOLVES. Communism wasn't possibly last century. That's why it didn't work. It is now.

Oddly, Marx himself predicted the downfall of Capitalism would take place in THIS century.

Once the economy had become global and it was no longer possible to find new consumers so that the economy effitively cannibalised itself to keep paying the interest that was once paid by an ever expanding economy that can no longer expand.

As I say, Marxism is a theory of historical progression. But most of his predictions have stood the test of time; history happened as he predicted.

Might I point out, it will hard to have a war if the Earth is a United States of Earth. Granted, there could still be terrorists groups, but the age of war as we know it would be over.

Caratacus said...

Would you be so kind as to pencil me in for the first of the subversive movements dedicated to the overthrow of the tyrranical United States of Earth, there's a good fellow.

Crushed said...

It wouldn't by tyrannical :)

You not read Proudhon, Caratacus? Not aware of the concept of the whiethering away of the state?

In a true Communist Democracy, ALL the people form the legislature. There wouldn't be a central executive either. Complete separation of powers.

In fact, it would be a bit like you had no government, just a lot of separate utility companies with every person being a shareholder. True Communism is, paradoxically, the logical conclusion of the Capitalist dream :)

There is a sense in which in fact, Communism is Anarchy, because there is no longer a distinction between state and society. It's just that it isn't a chaotic anarchy. It's an anarchy that actually ends up being MORE cohesive and efficient- even though it increases individuality- than what we have now :)

microdave said...

You seem to find the suggestions of a New World Order to be pie in the sky (it's not, do some research), yet you think that war will be impossible if we have a United States of Earth. You can't have it both ways. The EU hasn't stopped war between some of the former Soviet states, because people don't like their own identity being trampled on.

The looming breakdown of Capitalism won't (unfortunately) mean we can all go back to managing our own lives in your "harmonious and pleasureable society". It will mean the billionare banking groups and other enormously powerful figures will seize control of all the assets we rely on for our livelyhoods, and we will end up with Communism on a grand scale.

I don't like that thought, but as I've already said the human race is not composed of uniformly nice people. There are some right evil bastards out there, and they invariably get their way....

As for us expanding out into the far off universe - don't you think we've done enough damage to this planet already? When questions are asked as to why we haven't had any visitations from other planets, I chuckle to myself and say "Why the hell would any beings clever enough to have developed interplanetary travel want to come to this sh1thole?" - Except to harvest us for their own nefarious purposes, perhaps.

Or maybe they already are amongst us, and what's happening is all part of some master plan??

Barking Spider said...

The problem with any form of communism is that it doesn't take human nature into account - that's why it will never happen democratically - and there are always some right self-serving bastards in control with an even worse self-serving bastard controlling them!

As far as colonising space is concerned, once we have the technology to be able leave our own solar system and reach other stars where we know there are probably Earth-like planets, we may well encounter something even nastier than us... and if they have superior technology, we're fucked!  =-O

Microdave; the term exists. I use it myself. But Illuminati, etc, dear lord.
Yes, Microdave, I've seen the 'research' you lot enjoy. I've also read Protocols of the Elders of Zion, the master blueprint of all conspiracy theorists.

You're thinking on the right lines vis a vis the collapse. We will have Communism, but the bankers won't bring it in. Why would they want it?

Assets you rely on for your livelihoods...

Communism means no concept of property. You won't rely on assets. No one will. You'll rely on a democratic system.

Your last paragraph puzzled me.

What DO you want for our future? Surely evolution and progression is what it's all about?

Don't you ever walk round your home and think 'One day life will be easier'. One day people will be calmer. Happier. More knowledgeable.

You think in terms of a speciers only just coming out of adolescence. That's what we are. We've only recently managed to move beyond slavery, female oppression, racism, torture, capital punishment, monarchy and other nasty things.

Two thousand years ago, people were thrown to lions for fun.

Capitalism creates the mindset creates most of the problems that you refer to. Ultimately because it';s unsustainable and needs vast levels of unnecessary and wasteful consumption as well as the need to waste human labour. These are inbuilt features of the interest based economy.

Proper management solves these issues.

Crushed said...

Of course space colonisation is what it's all about! It's at the heart of everything. Probably the single most important deciding factor and the one that proves Capitalism is fxxked. It's failure to propel us into terraforming Mars, a whole world for the taking. If Capitalism worked, they wouldn't be cancelling returning to the Moon.

We can't stay here forever in a divided world. We'll blow ourselves up. Might i refer you, btw, to the fermi paradox. One proposed answer is that all intelligent civilisations are created by violent predators therefore once they split the atom- which they need to do to colonise space- they soon blow eachother up.

I don't accept that grim hypothesis. I actually think we are alone and that's the answer. Alone in this galaxy, anyway. At least as far as Eukaryote life goes.

We are the best there is. the best thing in the Universe, perhaps. And I have faith in our ability to move forward.

Yeah, humanity produices some shit, or has done. But it also produces people like Hawking and Dawkins. It produces Tolkiens, it produces Keats, Byron, Bosch. Amazing guys, really amazing.

Don't you believe that this is worth something and worth believing in?

The reason why your utopia will never work is because some people work hard and some people are lazy bastards. Well, actually, you won't be able to, as the place is pretty well off limits to the rest of us.</span>

"<span>We've only recently managed to move beyond slavery, female oppression, racism, torture, capital punishment, monarchy."  - Slavery maybe, but the rest were still alive and kicking the last time I looked.</span>

"<span>Proper management solves these issues."  - Again I make the point that power corrupts, and once you put people in postitions of authority it always ends up going to their heads, whether that be under a Capitalist system or Communist.</span>

Dream on....

microdave said...

"<span>Of course space colonisation is what it's all about!"  A slight problem is that all our exploration so far has not found anywhere capable of supporting human life, and Mars is definitely not on the list of possibles!  Unless you venture down the road of cryo-storage (if we can ever make it work), no humans would live long enough to reach another solar system, even if we were able to locate somewhere suitable. </span>

"<span>We can't stay here forever in a divided world. We'll blow ourselves up." </span>
<span>- Some high profile commenters have implied much the same in the last couple of weeks, and been soundly condemed by the establishment.

<span>All this </span><span>talk of</span><span> "believing" sounds to me suspiciously like the "Happy Clappy" brigade. I've had personal experience of them at a previous place of work, and I'm afraid it's no more than brainwashing. </span>

Sorry, but I'm a realist, and however much I would like the World to magically change for the better, it's not going to happen in my lifetime.

I can't see any further point in trying to continue this discussion - if that makes me a wimp for throwing the towel in, then so be it.

Crushed said...

The good guys DO get shat on by the bad sometimes, yes. Think Jesus for one. Trotsky would be another ;) . But by their example they showed responsible leadership. Accepting being shat on by the bad guys and not sinking to their level is how you acheive progress. In the end they do lose. Otherwise we'd still be in the stone age.

Mars, btw IS on the list of possibles. It just needs terraforming, which IS possible, technologically. If we could free the manpower and the resources which we currently waste.

You do realise if we divided the work up proprly and removed the duplication of Capitalist waste we produce enough materials to keep us all in a luxury lifestyle three times over and we can do that on less than ten hours a week each?

So the mammoth project of terraforming our neighbours isn't actually cloud cuckoo land at all.

Oh, you're not a wimp for throwing in the towel. You were a perfect gentleman and that's something I didn't expect to find on this blog.
