A Matter of Time?

This is a true story.

I have a friend who wears glasses.
He was stopped at passport control on return to his native UK and was asked to remove his glasses by the immigration officer, so he could accurately compare my friend's face to that of his passport photograph.

The person in front of my friend had walked straight through passport control without being challenged, despite the fact that they were wearing a Burka and the immigration officer had also studied her (or his?) passport.

So how long will it be before THIS happens in the UK then?

Just a matter of time.

We should ban the fucking things, like in France.

I do wonder how many people, under these Burkas, are actually women.

The Taliban men, weird fuckers that they are, like to wear lipstick and lingerie, so who knows.

Take a look at video or photos taken at any protest involving those of the burka wearing persuasion and a number of them will move, stand or act more like blokes than wimmin.

I was under the impression that these burkha wearing individuals were required to have private "viewings"...

I would love to see a passport for one of them. Wouldnt surprise if that photo shows them conveniently covered up too! Fuckwits!

Yes Sue, so was I.
Worrying isn't it?

I wouldn't be surprised if it had already happened GOT but the powers that be want to keep it under wraps so as not to upset their Muslim friends.

The security services should bollock the government into enforcing a ban, but I doubt that will happen.

Banning the burka would require some balls, so we can forget that with Labour in power. Maybe the EU will stick a ban in now the right have gained a foothold?

It's a relic, with no place in secular society.

Waiting for a knock on the door?

Police have been handed 'Chinese-style' powers to enter private homes and seize political posters during the London 2012 Olympics.

Little-noticed measures passed by the Government will allow officers and Olympics officials to enter homes and shops near official venues to confiscate any protest material.
