"To all my usual readers, I wish to apologise that my blog is currently down for maintenance. There are other reasons too but I cannot discuss them currently. The blog will be back for business after Sept 26th at the latest.

In the mean time read my posts on National Death Service or the Libertarian South East Blog. I wish all my readers well and this is akin to why Nightjack was shut down so you will appreciate why I have had to take such drastic measures. Rest assured that all the posts still exist and that you will be able to read again in a month's time."

The All Seeing Eye is back on the loose in the blogosphere

Lawson Narse

Just a quick note to explain the absence of Lawson Narse from his blog Flying War Pigs and from his postings here, at GrumpyOldTwat, for nearly a week or so.

He has emailed me to say that he had 'a bit of an incident' last Friday morning, I won't go into detail here but it was serious enough to keep him hospitalised until today (Tuesday). He assures me that he is now on the mend but is also in possession of a complete pharmacy!

He will return to blogging just as soon as he feels able.

We all miss you my friend but take your time to recover fully so that you will be able to give Gordon, and his band of fucktards, both barrels upon your welcome return.

Update on The Eye

Just to let you know that there has been some more encouraging news about the condition of TheEye. He is still showing signs of improvement and is now able to communicate more freely. However, he remains in hospital and I have been told that his road to recovery will not be a short one and he won't be returning to blogging, either here or at All Seeing Eye, for the foreseeable future.

David Vance, my co-conspirator at ASE, is continuing to do an excellent job in maintaining  the All Seeing Eye blog and is determined to ensure everything is still ticking over nicely for when TheEye is ready to resume his rightful place. Please try and stop by there and show your support.

Finally, many thanks to all of you who have been kind enough to wish TheEye well, both here in the comments and via email, and may I ask you to continue sparing  a thought for him from time to time in an effort to encourage his full recovery.

I know my good friend TheEye will greatly appreciate your support.

Encouraging news about TheEye!

There has been a slight improvement in his condition which now means that his chances of survival are a bit better. It seems as though all our good thoughts and prayers are starting to have an effect. However, the next few days still remain very important to him and I would be grateful if you would all continue to send your good wishes and may be offer up a small prayer or two.

TheEye really does need all the help he can get.

Reality Bites (Updated)

There you are going about your normal daily business, trying to earn a crust, trying not to incur the wrath of your partner and hopefully, if there is any time left, give the Government hell on your humble blog. Suddenly, without warning, reality jumps up and bites you on the arse.

Unfortunately I heard distressing news today about TheEye, my co-conspirator on this blog, and my very good friend. He has suffered an unfortunate accident and is currently in the ITU of his local hospital.

Awful news.

David Vance one of my fellow co-conspirators at All Seeing Eye, he of A Tangled Web and Biased BBC fame, will join with me in doing our utmost to maintain TheEye's blog so it is there for him to come back to when he has fully recovered.

I am deeply distressed at today's news. TheEye has become a great friend over the last few months and I can only wish him well for a speedy recovery and a return to his rightful place, both here, where he also does a lot to help me behind the scenes, and at the All Seeing Eye blog.

Even more importantly than that, friendship is a very precious thing and we are all missing his at this present time.

If all our thoughts, prayers and good wishes were the finest medicine then hopefully he will be back amongst us all very soon.

Latest news on TheEye is not good.

He is intubated, on a ventilator and sedated,

the next 24/48hrs are critical.

Please continue to spare a thought and a prayer

to help him through his darkest hours.

I intend to return to blogging just as soon as I can get my head around this distressing news. I know that is what TheEye would want and I am not going to let a good friend down.

The deal has been struck.

The All Seeing Eye and St Crispin have been invited to vent their spleen and spew their bile here, at Sweary Towers, when life gets just a bit too much for them and only good old anglo fucking saxon buggery bollocks will do!

And, just to prove that I can manage a twatting sentence without fucking well swearing, I shall kindly accept their invite to do the occasional non fuckety fuck sweary bollocks of a post over at their place.

Sometimes swearing just isn't appropriate.

For example, G.O.T. was going to throw the odd fuck into this welcome but it just didn't seem to get the right message across, in fact it appeared to do exactly the opposite.
