A Guide To Taxation And Economics

As I have probably mentioned before I am no financial expert, far from it, but here's what I thought was an excellent explanation of how people in the higher tax bracket will benefit the most from having a tax reduction ... and ultimately, I guess, so will we.

But what do you think? Or is it all totally irrelevant now, due to the fact that our taxation system is gradually being taken over by the EU anyway?

Suppose that once a week, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to £100.
If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this ...

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay £1
The sixth would pay £3.
The seventh would pay £7.
The eighth would pay £12.
The ninth would pay £18.
And the tenth man (the richest) would pay £59.

So, that's what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every week and seemed quite happy with the arrangement until, one day, the owner caused them a little problem. "Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your weekly beer by £20."

Drinks for the ten men would now cost just £80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes. So the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free, but what about the other six men? The paying customers? How could they divide the £20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair share? They realized that £20 divided by six is £3.33 but if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then not only would the first four men still be drinking for free, but the fifth and sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fairer to reduce each man's bill by a higher percentage. They decided to follow the principle of the tax system they had been using and he proceeded to work out the amounts he suggested that each should now pay.

And so, the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (a 100% saving).
The sixth man now paid £2 instead of £3 (a 33% saving).
The seventh man now paid £5 instead of £7 (a 28% saving).
The eighth man now paid £9 instead of £12 (a 25% saving).
The ninth man now paid £14 instead of £18 (a 22% saving).
And the tenth man now paid £49 instead of £59 (a 16% saving).
Each of the last six was better off than before with the first four continuing to drink for free.

But, once outside the bar, the men began to compare their savings. "I only got £1 out of the £20 saving", declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man, "but he got £10!"

"Yeah, that's right!" exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a £1 too. It's unfair that he got ten times more benefit than me!"

"That's true!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get £10 back, when I only got £2? The wealthy get all the breaks!"

"Wait a minute!" yelled the first four men in unison, "we didn't get anything at all. This new tax system exploits the poor!" The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next week the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him. When it came to paying the bill, they discovered something important, they didn't have enough money between all of them to pay for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and government ministers, is how our tax system works. The people who already pay the highest taxes will naturally get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy and they just might not show up anymore.

In fact, they might start drinking overseas, where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

World Cup Wankers

It's no fucking wonder that the likes of monkey boy Rooney, and the rest of his over paid, under talented England team mates, don't give a flying fuck about whether they win the World Cup or not. Have you seen how much that hairy arsed baboon gets paid?

Per week he gets around £100,000 'playing' for his club, £200,000 for image rights (whatever the fuck that means), £20,000 from Nike, £4,000 from EA computer games and another £3,000 from Coca Cola. That's a grand total of £327,000 a week ..... for an hour and half's work, poncing around on a field, swearing at the referee, teaching young kids to grow up as same-self arrogant arseholes and to occasionally kick a bag full of air between two white sticks.

Oh, and for good measure that dumb fuck of a checkout bint Coleen, that he's married to, got over £40,000 a month for 'writing' a column in OK magazine and a further £13,000 every time she appeared on some ITV bollocksy 2, mind numbing televisual delight called Real Women.

Don't get me wrong, good luck to anyone that can get such an obscene amount of dosh, for donkeying around on a patch of grass with the arrogant fuck you attitude of a politician, but where's the fucking incentive for representing your Country of birth and for wearing the England football team shirt with pride.

And multi millionaire, beardy weirdy monkey boy wonders why the fuck he gets booed by people who have paid thousands of pounds of their hard earned cash, to show support for their country, only to be rewarded with  a lack lustre, talentless, no bang for the buck, passionless, piss poor performance like that.

Multiply that by 11 or so and throw in an 'I'm only in it in for the money' irate I-tie and it's no fucking wonder that the England Team will all be coming home on Thursday. Incidentally, don't forget that there is another reason we were doomed to failure before the tournament even started.

Thank goodness my interest lies with cricket, and not football, because those boys play with a real passion .... that's why they won the T20 World Cup recently, with ease, even though it wasn't easy. That's because they played with passion and pride .... and they worked damn fucking hard at it.

Good lads!

Sir Lord Ugly of Eurovision

"You have got to be shitting me Pigsy!", I said, as she drew my attention to yet another advert on the BBC.  Apparently it was about the Eurovision Song Contest.

"Your Country needs you!", it exclaimed gleefully.
"Maybe it does", I moaned, "But I need this pile of shite like a fucking hole in le bollock".

It was bad enough when Sir Wiggy Irish Fat Fucker was involved with it but now it appears that we have to put up with some 'light on yer toes' twat named after a motorbike. Something to do with the Le Pink Vote, according to Pigsy.

Humph!

Now, as if that wasn't bad enough, the BBC have decided to pissoir even more licence fee payers money up the fucking wall by asking Sir Lord Ugly of Publicity Jockeys to pen a suitable ditty.
Pound to a pinch of shit it'll be called 'Le Doo Dee Dah Dee Dum Dum Doh', or some such bollocks. Sung by a pair of minge munching twins that no fucker has ever heard of, nor will again.

Who the fuck cares about some vote rigging, Euro karaoke pantomime that we have absolutely no chance of winning. With or without the help of Sir Lord Ugly with Pubes for Eyebrows.

Stop wasting our money you twats.
C'est rien que de la merde.
Va te faire enculer.

Bush Says Brown Does

Here we go again!
George Bush has decided to throw money at the American car industry.
What a waste of fucking money.
If the American financial sector weren't such a load of fucking robdogs then their fat, burger loving countrymen would be able to afford to buy a car.
Sound familiar?
Pound to a pinch of shit that Gordoom follows suit.
Why wouldn't he?
Twat follows twat.
The British car industry was fucked years ago but that won't stop Brownfinger pissing cash up the wall to help out all the other countries that build cars in this country.
It's a fucking disgrace!
Pair of twats!

BBC Waste Licence Payers Money

If you're looking for a well constructed and balanced argument on the subject of the BBC Licence Fee, then you're in the wrong place.
Jonathan Ross or Wonathan Wucking Woss (as he is known in this house) is a complete an utter fucking, twating, bolloxing waste of licence fee payers money. £16m for what?  Showing us how far up his own arse he can shove his head?
Poncing about the place and sticking his tongue up anyone's arse that has got a new film/show/book/single to promote?
Please do me favour and fuck off (keep the change it'll be worth it).
Even though I fucking hate that kiddy fiddler, Gary Glitter, I hear that he has phoned Ross to say he has fucked his daughter, nice one!
Strictly Come Dancing . . . The judges are a bunch of moronic coffin dodgers!
If you don't like the public's opinion then don't invite them to phone in and fucking give it! Leave John Sargeant alone!
The One Show . . . The fucking One Show! That's ironic, there's fucking hundreds of them!
Its another example of shitting out licence fee money 'til the cows come home.
Full of mindless crap and yet another BBC vehicle for anybody who wants to promote their new film/show/book/single.
As for the presenters? A pasty faced twat that looks liked he's walked into a door on the way to the studio and some bird with a face full of teeth that looks like a fucking matchstick with all the wood shaved off!
That Adrian Chiles is fucking everywhere, he's like dog shit!
Fuck off back to Working Lunch where nobody can see you!

Just like the BBC does with some of it's output, I've got a feeling that I'm going to produce a series of worthless fucking episodes of this shit!
Twats!
