This from WUWT:
This morning I contacted Norfolk Constabulary with a view to finding out if they had yet ascertained whether the breach at the Climatic Research Unit was a leak or a hack. I have just received a response which is frankly amazing:
Norfolk Constabulary continues its investigations into criminal offences in relation to a data breach at the University of East Anglia. During the enquiry officers have been working in liaison with the Office of the Information Commissioner and with officers from the National Domestic Extremism Team. The UEA continues to co-operate with the enquiry however major investigations of this nature are of necessity very detailed and as a consequence can take time to reach a conclusion. It would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage. So there you have it then. If you are one of the growing number of MMGW deniers it appears that you are now also a dangerous extremist. Up there with terrorists and the like, according to the Mi5 website.
It gets worse.
If you go on to the National Domestic Extremism website, they proudly display an explanation of what constitutes 'domestic extremism':
"The terms are generally used to describe the activity, individuals or campaign groups that carry out criminal acts of direct action in furtherance of a campaign. These people and activities usually seek to prevent something from happening or to change legislation or domestic policy, but attempt to do so outside of the normal democratic process."
Well, pardon me for stating the fucking obvious but surely that is an unbelievably accurate description of the way the Labour Government conducts itself.
And then the website goes on to say:
"The tactics used by extremists vary and are always changing. Incidents have included public disorder offences, malicious letters and e-mails, blackmail, product contamination, damage to property and occasionally the use of improvised explosive devices. Domestic extremist campaigns rarely cause a danger to life, but in some cases the aim is to create a climate of fear."
Fuck me, there it was, right at the end of the paragraph . . . "climate of fear". Now is that relevant because the Government are trying to instill a climate of fear by promoting climate change in the hope that enough fear is generated to tax the fuck out of the plebs? Or do the Government just fear the climate change deniers?
Either way, an organisation that was originally set up to counter the activities of the animal rights activists, is now being put to a different use . . . . restricting the climate change deniers.
Fuck 'em!
Act On Co2. It's all just an act.

Bunch of lying, taxing, power-crazed twats .. the lot of 'em ..
Makes me seethe! I'm prolly on their database GOT - and I bet you are too! *ankers!
I expect I'm there somewhere too ..
But if they're looking at me, it means they're leaving some other poor bugger alone ..
Sod 'em all ...
A worthwhile contribution to stemming greenhouse gasses can be made by setting alight to your farts. It's a better alternative than higher taxes.
An even better idea would be setting fire to all the hot air generated in the HoC .. at least it might rid us of 646 wastes of genetic material in the process ..
Norfolk plod should get onside PDQ, with the world watching they will not be able to maintain forever that the issue is one of data breaching.
It is about publicly funded scientists lieing their fucking arses off, their soiled reputations beyond saving and Norwich C.I.D. would do well to remember that, or else.
No Police Force (I utterly refuse to title them as a "Service") will get onside for as long as individual Chief Constables believe that by toadying, perpetuating & peedling this governments endless lies .. they might have a realistic chance at what they perceive to be the "Top" job .. i.e Commissioner (or Commissionaire) of the Met ..
Captain Haddock, it's not just the rozzers. Teachers, NHS bosses and so forth. Not forgetting the BBC twats.
The government and Righteous do fear Holocaust, sorry, meant "climate change" deniers because they keep talking about us. They call us flat earthers, "denialists" (seriously, who the fuck invented that word?) and there are organisations set up with vast amounts of public funds to help the BBC's propaganda machine to counter us. We, on the other hand, don't have any money. The deniers operate on gusto and sweat alone. Matchfixing or what!
If truth is extremism then I'll be growing a big fuck-off beard and taking my (empty) backpack everywhere I go. I might even leave it somewhere on the tube ;-)
We'll all be on one of these lists in one form or another. Why the hell do you think that this paranoid junta employ Internet companies to monitor bloggers musings, and at the tax payers expense?
Every time we say something that the fuckers don't like, that will be another black mark against our names.
Perhaps the only people the cunts wont be tracking, will be Choudary and his Islam4UK rabble, as that could well be defined as anti Islamic, in New Labour logic.
Oldrightie .. You are of course quite correct .. They're all twats of the first water ..
I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish the PUBLIC servants in the National Domestic Extremist Team, MI5, MI6, Norfolk Constabulary & Uncle Tom Cobley a very good Sunday morning ..
I feel completely safe & secure in the knowledge that between them, they couldn't detect a pickled onion in a fruit salad .. So long suckers .. Lol
So this lot would have cracked down hard on Nelson Mandella then.
Sorry chpas, say it a bit louder, your masters didn't hear you say yes.
At least the National Domestic Extremism Team has a public website where you can find out about them. Contrast this with the Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) which was set up in secret to abduct and imprison without trial anyone ‘inconvenient’. The only bit of ‘official’ information about them outside of questions asked in the House of Commons is an article written for the Guardian/Observer. Even ministers have to direct people to that because there is no real official information on the group.
The FTAC operate outside of the law. Once they have their hands on you it is very difficult to escape unless your case is solid (such as mine). Their victims disappear into the NHS and are never seen again. There is no accountability or scrutiny. Any complaint to the IPCC is either ignored or subject to a superficial examination and the standard ‘no case to answer’ verdict returned.
It also appears that the existence of this political detention force has the backing of the Conservatives too.
Mission creep?
Surely not!
Use of scary super-powers designed for terrorism in quite another way, against a completely different target not even remotely related to terrorism?
Say it ain't so!
