Offensive M&S Christmas TV Advert

The Advertising Standards Authority have been receiving complaints, from a handful of fuck-all-better-to-do righteous retards, about the latest Christmas TV advert from Marks and Spencer. Apparently the fucknuts find it 'offensive', 'sexist' and 'demeaning'.

What a load of old bollocks!

I can't see a problem with it. Can you?

I watched the genuine one (after PMSL at yours!!!) and I guess the use of the word "Black" led to the complaints...

I'll enjoy the TV version more next time I see it...now knowing what it *should* be like.

Thanks all.

I just couldn't resist it ;-)

Oh, and has anyone out there got experience of doing voiceovers? I've tried several times in the past but ended up scrapping all the various efforts I've done so far :-(

It's just another idea I have on the back burner. Election coming up and all that ;-)

Excellent stuff GOT. I pinched it earlier for my place, hope you don't mind :-)

No worries Dick, anytime . . . I think our respective comments must have crossed in the post (ouch), so to speak.

It wouldn't open for me.

Has it been pulled?

Still seems ok to me Billy ;-)

GOT : Voiceovers.

Depends where your problem is. If it's a case of "doesn't sound like I want it to....", no issue, I can perform a whole load of post-processing on any audio track you want to supply. That includes changing voice pitch, speech timing, breath noises, glottal stops, changing perceived gender and adding in more voices to give the impression of lots of people speaking in unison.... part of the joy of being a music producer.

If you want someone to do the voiceover, that's not me.

Post if you're interested & I'll EMail you a drop address for a test if you want. Over to you...

The only thing I object to is that apparently a representation of British woman hood (you don't get much more British than M&S) is a slightly brown FRENCH woman FFS!!!

what about Felicity Kendal???

Ah yes, StC, Felicity Kendall . . .
now you're talking!
