Carry On Signing

Following an excellent signpost by the Lone Voice
I decided to gather together a few of my favourite UK road signs.

And, of course, I couldn't leave this one out . . . .

Ah yes Twatt, I actually had a customer call me from that years ago when I worked in customer services.

Had to put the poor chap on hold for a few mins. due to childish giggling from myself; whilst calling over people in the office to look at the address!

I always wanted to stand with my old Cortina by the road sign on the A38 in Somerset " Mark 2 ".

I'm surprised that the Righteous have not yet banned this particular pub sign, they certainly tried to change the name of the pub.

Must have been a right laugh Fido.
I think it's moments like that which make the working day a little more enjoyable.

Ahh, EBC, that reminds me of the Mark 2 1600E.
Those were the days!

Also, I have always found the word 'green' quite offensive. Perhaps they should consider changing it to 'white', that would get the Righteous into a right old 2 and 8.

The Telegraph do a weekly set of these on their site, but not rude ones. Oh no. That wouldn't do.

So they are mostly shit.

These, on the other hand, are good. I liked the final kicker...Twatt. Hahaha

Many thanks OH!

I would be honoured to raise a further 'titter or two' at your place.

Incidentally, it's nice to see you are still 'hear and there' amongst the comments of others.
