Message From G.O.T.

Apologies for my recent lacking of blogging. Unfortunately my attention has been directed elsewhere whilst my 'better half' has been enduring a little bit of 'brain tinkering' by the highly skilled staff at Frenchay.

So, apart from an odd post or two, I will continue to leave my two blogs in the more than capable hands of TheEye and Lawson Narse until I feel sure that she is going to make a full recovery.

In the meantime, thanks to The Eye and Lawson for all their help and here's a little something that you might find amusing . . .

Gordon Brown's official result

Best wishes to her for a speedy recovery G.O.T. She is being treated in one of the best hospitals in Britain. Both my parents had major surgery there many years ago, when they lived in Somerset, and it was an example of what the NHS could be.

G.O.T God speed from OR. I found such a situation worse than if it had been myself and The NHS is excellent when allowed to be!

Thank you all so much for the kind words and good wishes. We really appreciate them and it certainly seems to be doing the trick.

The only problem is that I am in grave danger of being less Grumpy due to all the kindness heading my way at the moment!

A quick look at a picture of Gordon should soon put that right though ;-)

Our best wishes to you and Mrs G.O.T we hope she makes a swift recovery.

From all at B'stard towers.

Had a bit of the old brain tinkering myself. Problem is, they left the hatch unlocked and now Mrs B'stard can oft be found playing with the switches........
