What Is It They Say?

Ah yes, I remember!
A murderer always returns to the scene of the crime.

I usually agree with what you write, but I can't say that on this occasion, am afraid. How do you seriously come to the conclusion that they would kill their own child, and then raise hundreds of thousands of pounds trying to investigate what happened and to find her?

I don't believe she did it either, GOT - that fucking greasy policeman, Amaral didn't do his job properly from the outset which allowed the trail to go cold. He also had a confession beaten out of another Englishwoman after her child was abducted in the same area. There's a paedo ring working around there, too, and, quite frankly, I wouldn't be at all surprised if that cunt Amaral was a part of it.

Don't agree with you on this GOT. The Police made major cock ups from the very start and continued making those cock ups until they closed or scaled down the whole investigation.

A touchy subject this, but I'm suspicious of them. Tapas eating, child neglecting cunts at the very least.

I don't think it was deliberate but I do believe she is responsible for the childs diappearance and she and her husband know where the kid is buried. Raising thousands of pounds was merely a way to help divert attention. The whole sordid affair stinks.

They probably gave her some sleeping pills and she snuffed it, thoughts of their own medical careers being ended they put her in the boot.

There is however you look at it, a smell of something that's not right. Methinks they do protest too much!

For what it's worth - very little, since I wasn't there and do not know the facts, other than as presented by the media - I think the McCanns were foolish and careless.
But murderers? You utterly appalling person; can you imagine the pain those poor people go through every day, were going through as you tossed off your unconscionably spiteful rubbish?
I hope you never have to feel the pain of a lost child.

Too bad you can't read the book that Amaral wrote. He was assigned to other cases due to pressures from the Police Director after pressure from the British government. All the forensic evidence pointed to a death inside the house and the dog picked their rental car consistently in a line up of several cars. The dogs (came from Britain) picked the scent or dead body in the house in two locations and on the trunk of the rented Scenic. There was an Irish witness that saw the father with the child on his lap look to be asleep after the supposed kidnapping. That witness recognized the father when they arrived in England and were leaving the plane. The witness was contacted by the PR person for the McCans after he gave testimony.
The parents managed to stop the sale of the book and the translation to English for a launch in the UK market. I do believe there was accidental death by negligence and they covered it up by making it look like a kidnapping. I don't believe they are murderers. I just thing that they are negligent to the point where the kid had a mortal accident and they tried to avoid the blame for it. It seems it worked like a charm
