Chillout

Just sat here foaming at the mouth, whilst putting together my next post, when a song came up on the shuffling iTune thingy. A perfect chillout between my last rant about Rooney and my next one about ..... well, you'll find that out later.

Anyhow, I thought I'd share the tune with you.

Very underrated guitarist that Bill Nelson.

Anyone else got a good chillout tune that they can recommend to help reduce the risk of bursting blood vessels and boiling piss?

Didn't even realise that Bill Nelson was a member of any band, and I've never heard of Be Bop Deluxe. Came across the song below on You Tube though, and think it's really good.

  2. Cheers Dazed, nice one.
Showing my age a bit with Bill Nelson and Be Bop Deluxe but when I was a teenager, back in the late 70's, the 'Sunburst Finish' album was one that got played to death, literally wore the fucker out!

  9. New to me and an excellent example of the 7 or 8 minute-ish relaxing Floyd/Yes kind of stuff that I've always enjoyed.

    Thanks ;)

  17. I wonder if you've heard of The Enid? I saw them live at a poky little pub in a well know East Coast resort, at least 30 years ago.

And of course any ballads by the wonderful Judie Tzuke, but if I posted any at the moment I would probably start getting rather emotional....

She's still performing now, and her daughter is making a name for herself.

Aye GOT, I suppose you had to be there. They did more rocky stuff, but I canny be ersed looking for it.

  19. Yep, I vaguely remember The Enid and Judie Tzuke is fine by me too although, like a few other female artists, she can be a bit emotive but I don't mind that on the odd occasion.

  21. Hey Spackers, I don't mind depressing chillout, it kinda goes with the grumpiness. Nice choices although the 'Circle' vid did make me feel a little dizzy (unless it was the booze).

Lovin' those Ukele boys! My favourite is their version of Sheena is a Punk Rocker, great fun. I'm a now a fan!

  22. Fair comment about female artists, but Judie was a teenage/early 20's crush - I was a member of her fan club for a few years.

i've not got much time for Jazz, but when Candy Dulfer plays a Saxaphone this well, I can make an exception:
