Mosque Firing Range

A Muslim group has demanded an apology from the British Army after it emerged that replica mosques were being used on a North Yorkshire firing range.


What the fuck is wrong with that then.
Seems fine to me.

    Due to the fact that Muslims in Iraq and in Afghanistan use Mosques as firing platforms to kill and injure our troops, a mock up of a Mosque should be used as a likely target.
    If Muslims want their Mosques to be sacrosanct, then they should not use them are armoured fort, arm and explosive storage places.
    Let them tell their brothers to stop using them as shield to kill from. Otherwise, UK Muslims should shut up and let our troops train.
    In my view the so called targets look like large Wendy Houses so I don’t know what they are complaining about.

    Good fun comments, but seriously: firing ranges need many types of mock-ups of buildings, etc, to be realistic. This obviously will encompass some buildings which are not targets but there to be avoided! Just saying...

    This bunch of over-protected, little-better-to-do, looking-to-be-insulted people from Bradford ought to have seen the Training Facility at Lydd, Kent at the height of the N.I. "troubles" ..

    I had the dubious "pleasure" of passing through its gates on more than a few occasions .. and I'm damned sure what I & others learned & were reminded of there got most of us "home" again in one piece ..
